Thank you to everyone that attended last week’s event, called the Church of the Atonement Documentary Showing and Discussion, which was held by the Center for Hope and Safety (formerly Shelter Our Sisters). With everyone’s support, the event was a resounding success. Also, thank you to Patrice Lenowitz, a survivor of domestic violence, for leading the discussion and offering some great insight!
If you couldn’t make it, there are always more events that you can attend! For example, the Center for Hope and Safety is holding another event called the 5th Annual Stampin Event Fundraiser! Even though this is much different in nature, as the previous event was about the documentary and group discussion, this is still an important event that will help victims of domestic violence in New Jersey. As the name implies, the event is a fundraiser where all proceeds go to the Center for Hope and Safety.
The event will be held on January 31 at the Clifton Avenue Reformed Church. Read the description below, which was written on the Center for Hope and Safety’s website, for more details about the event.
This annual fundraiser has a number of activities that include an open card making class, all day brunch and tricky tray. There will, also, be a Sweets and Gift Shop with handmade goodies for purchase to give your friends and family.
The proceeds from this annual event will benefit Center For Hope And Safety (formerly Shelter Our Sisters)
