Last week, we talked about how college students were helping drive donations for nonperishable food items during their first day on campus. However, they aren’t the only young adults trying to make a difference in the world! There are students that will be holding a food drive for Move For Hunger in Old Bridge, NJ on October 4th and they need your help! Here’s information about the event from Move For Hunger’s official blog post:

On Sunday, October 4th, 2015, four school-aged children will host a “Fill-A-Truck” food drive event at Shop Rite in Old Bridge, NJ. Local residents are encouraged to help “Fill-A-Truck” with non-perishable food items to help the over 83,000 people facing food insecurity in Middlesex County. The event will take place between 10am and 2pm.

All donations will be delivered to the Community FoodBank of New Jersey. Collection boxes, transportation and truck will be generously provided by Crown Relocations of New York, an agent of Wheaton Worldwide.

Want to help these kids reach their goal? Join them by visiting Shop Rite in Fairway Plaza at 2239 US Highway 9 Old Bridge, NJ 08857 United States. Again, they will be accepting donations from 10am to 2pm, so don’t miss your chance to help out! If you would like to see the full, original post then please click here.
