Cindy Myer often gets recognized for her hard work running Ridgewood Moving Services (Ridgewood Moving) as a female in a male dominated industry. She inherited the business years ago and went in with little experience, but she has learned a lot about the moving industry since then and has helped make Ridgewood Moving Services better than ever before. Her efforts established the moving company as the 2013 Mover of the Year by the New Jersey Warehousemen and Movers Association and she has spoken at many public events like the Inspirational Women in Business Luncheon in which she shared the story of her successful career.

Now, Cindy is being asked to help as a spokeswoman at the Lowe’s Women Build Mother’s Day event on May 6! This is the 9th event of its kind that was designed to empower women by highlighting the accomplishments of successful women. The theme of this event is centered around inspirational and motivational women in the fields of business, the arts, media, banking, law, education and government. Cindy specifically is being recognized for being the first woman president of NJWMA. The following women qualify and have exceeded under these conditions:

  1. Linda Bowden, PNC Bank NJ Regional President
  2. Susan Greenbaum, of Greenbaum Interiors
  3. Cindy Myer, Ridgewood Moving Services, first women president of the NJWMA.
  4. Deborah Hoffman, Executive Director of the Passaic Economic Development.
