Every month, we at Ridgewood Moving Services (Ridgewood Moving) compile a list of the testimonials sent in by our raving fans. We wanted to do something similar this month, but much like our Twitter Testimonial post, we’re going with a new theme this time: Yelp Testimonials!
We receive a ton of testimonials on Yelp. However, because Yelp’s website only promotes certain reviews over others, many of our reviews do not get seen. To remedy this, we would like to promote these reviews and give them the spotlight they deserve. Below, you can see examples of reviews that are not on the front page of our Yelp site, but ones that certainly deserve to be there!

My husband and I were truly impressed by this company. We moved locally at the beginning of the month. Our closing date was actually sooner then we originally planed so we called the company with short notice and were able to get someone out for an estimate and secured our moving date with no problem at all. In fact, I had called a few other companies and they did not do an estimate in person which I am sure can contribute to unexpected costs down the line. From my first phone call, to the gentleman that did the estimate, to the actually moving crew – we were met with nothing but professional and courteous staff. I was pleasantly surprised that our final cost was actually LESS then the original estimate. They estimated the move taking a lot longer then it did. The crew was diligent, respectful, and fast paced. I would recommend this company to anyone!

I have decided to use Ridgewood Moving to move from heavily packed town house to a condo unit a week ago. I must say that it was great. They did a fantastic job and I would recommend them to all my friends and family any day 🙂

From start to finish, our move from a 4-bedfroom home with 27 years worth of “stuff” into a 2 bedroom townhouse was practically stress-free thanks to Ridgewood Moving. They were able to accommodate us — at almost the last minute — 2 days before Thanksgiving!! Their quote was very fair, and the moving crew was wonderful. I can’t say enough good things about my experience with Ridgewood Moving. From the initial estimate to the final move, everyone was spectacularly helpful. The estimate was done quickly and accommodated my work schedule.
Ridgewood moved my family and my parent’s family during a 3-day span and both moves were done very professionally. The crew leader, Chris, and his team were extremely friendly and efficient. Got to know another member of his team, Jimmy, simply such a wonderful personality and enjoyed talking to him.
Both times the move actually came below estimates – which was a wonderful surprise.
I’ve moved several times in the past and have used other moving companies. While I haven’t had any complaints with those companies, Ridgewood Moving is simply one of the best and I highly recommend them.
