At Ridgewood Moving Services (Ridgewood Moving), we pride ourselves on the high quality service that we provide to our customers. Because of this, we’ve been able to cultivate a big following of raving fans that have kept us in business for almost 50 years! Our professional moving service isn’t something that we were randomly able to provide to our clients, as it takes years of training to maximize the potential of all our staff. Under the direction of CEO Cindy Myer, our movers are able to learn exactly what is required of them on the job in order to give our clients a seamless moving experience.
One of the many ways that we teach our employees about Ridgewood Moving Services’ core values is through team meetings at the office. This is something we are able to do during downtime, such as the winter season, because there are less moving jobs compared to the summer season. Below, you can see an example of a brainstorming session in which our movers were split into two different teams: blue team and green team. Both teams competed against each other to brainstorm about practices that should and shouldn’t be followed on the job. The picture shows exactly what each team came up with and both are pretty impressive!
This exercise is important for a number of reasons. First of all, it re-emphasizes good values because when a person brings up something that they should be doing, everyone else can follow suit. Similarly, when a mover brings up something they shouldn’t be doing, it also enforces the fact that they should avoid that kind of behavior. Then, when our movers finally go on the job for a client, they can remember what they’ve learned from the exercise and apply it in a real life scenario! This is a perfect example of how we’re able to train our movers and make them as professional as possible.
