2016 is a year of landmarks for Ridgewood Moving Services (Ridgewood Moving) and the people we work with. Not only has it been 50 whole years since we started our moving company, it’s also been 40 years since the Center for Hope and Safety first opened! For those that don’t know, the Center for Hope and Safety is a nonprofit organization that we’ve supported over the years because of their dedication to ending domestic violence. They shelter victims here in New Jersey and help them recover by using all the resources at its disposal.
Because the Center for Hope and Safety runs on donations from people that wish to fight against domestic violence, it often holds events to help raise money for its cause. That’s why it’s holding the Sapphire Gala to celebrate 40 years of its organization and to accept donations! The event will be held on April 18th in Garfield, New Jersey from 6:00 PM to 9:30 PM. Gift donations are being accepted for the silent auction at the gala, which include dining certificates, goods and services, entertainment packages, event tickets, and more!
